How it works

Five things you can do.

Save the number (989) 762-4030 in your phone as Herrada Care Line. From now on, anything you want the family to know — text it, photo it, call it, or ask it. Here's how each one feels.

Send a note.

The simplest case. Just text the number with what happened — the system figures out who it's about, what kind of update it is, and saves it.

Took Pa to cardiology today. Dr. Martinez said BP is stable, continue current meds, follow up in 6 months.
Care Line
Hi Rosa! ✓ Saved appointment + note for Pa. Dr. Martinez visit recorded with the 6-month follow-up flag. Reply YES to confirm or send a correction.

Send a photo.

For prescription labels, discharge papers, doctor's notes, or anything with text on it. The system reads the image and pulls out the details automatically — medication name, dosage, refill date, pharmacy, all of it.

Hi Tomás! ✓ Saved Metformin 500mg twice daily for Pa, prescribed by Dr. Garcia, refill due June 12 at CVS on Main. Reply YES to confirm or send a correction.

This is the fastest way to record medication info without typing.

Leave a voice update.

Call the number. After the greeting, leave a message describing what happened — like a voicemail to the family. The system transcribes and saves it.

Step 1
Call (989) 762-4030.
Step 2
After the greeting, speak naturally — who it's about, what happened, anything you'd want saved.
Step 3
Hang up. The system transcribes and saves it within a minute.

Great for walking out of an appointment when you don't want to type. Up to 2 minutes per recording.

Ask a question.

Same number. Just text a question instead of an update.

What medications is Pa taking right now?
Care Line
Pa's current medications: Lisinopril 10mg once daily; Metformin 500mg twice daily (refill May 22, CVS); Aspirin 81mg daily. Last updated by Mom on Apr 28.

Other questions that work:

Send a correction.

If the system saves something wrong, just reply with the correction. It updates the record.

Care Line
Saved Pa's medication: Metformin 500mg twice daily.
You
Correction — that should be Metformin 1000mg, not 500.
Care Line
Updated. Pa's Metformin is now recorded as 1000mg twice daily.

What if you want to stop receiving messages.

Reply STOP to any message from the Care Line. Your number is removed immediately. You can also ask Alfonso directly to remove you.

This is private. Only the Herrada family sees what's saved. The system does not share data with advertisers, marketers, or anyone else. Standard SMS rates from your wireless carrier may apply (the system itself doesn't charge you anything).
